Finally again

kMy favorite moments,... the times I have really been touched watching horses in competition, have been so-far:
LM 2004, when Steingrímur Sigurðsson with Geisli frá Sælukoti came in to the track to get his prices, totally supple and togeather. Of course other parts were also very good, but this part was for me the Top.
WM 2005, Jóhann R Skúlason and Hvinur frá Holtsmúla doing their Slow Tölt.,... totally supple and togeather. Of course other parts were also very good, but this part was for me the Top.
Íslandsmót 2014, Árni Björn Pálsson og Stormur frá Herríðarhóli in T1 finals, doing their Slow Tölt ..totally supple and together. Of course other parts were also very good, but this part was for me the Top.
And finally WM 2017, Jolly Schrenk with Glaesir von Gut Wertheim, doing the Slow Tölt in the T2 competition finals. totally supple and together. Of course other parts were also very good, but this part was for me the Top.
Of course I have memoryes of other horses and riders, and ofcourse there were many good presentations in Oirschot...so many good memoryes I have, but as I wrote in the first line here, these are on the Top.
It is also quite obvious how important the Slower gates are for me, but that is just how it is.
Of course I like to see horses in faster tempos, but the contact is more visible in slower gates. It simply takes more horsemanship and the quality of the riding becomes more obvious.
I like to watch detailes of a presentation, and often the things that happen ‘in between’ are for me most interesting. ...How does the rider enter the track. How are the transitions or how does the rider bring his horse into the next gate or exercise,... what is the rider doing inbetween exercises, while notes from judges are beeing presented?
Just a few thoughts
